Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: 18 to 33 years (Age relaxation applicable as per government norms).
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10th standard (Matriculation) or hold an ITI/National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC).

Selection Process
The selection involves three primary stages to ensure candidates are both academically and physically prepared for railway operations:
- Computer Based Test (CBT): A 100-mark objective exam covering Mathematics, Reasoning, Science, and General Awareness.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Qualified candidates must perform weight-carrying and running tasks.
- Male: Carry 35kg for 100m (2 min) and run 1000m (4 min 15 sec).
- Female: Carry 20kg for 100m (2 min) and run 1000m (5 min 40 sec).
- Document Verification & Medical Examination: Final verification of credentials and health fitness.
